In fact, I paid an online subscription when it was first offered at the turn of the 21st century and it gave good value even then. The newer business model is much more flexible and inviting and it is good to hear it is working for the "newspaper of record". Now it behooves creators and producers of every stripe to work towards "monetization" on terms that serve users well as we continue to disprove the ideologues who embrace technological capacity as an absolute (Corey Doctorow, come on down!)and reject basic human values of honesty and respect for creativity.Sandy Crawleynoreply@blogger.com
